This 16-minute video and DVD addresses issues inherent with equipment roadability through suggested inspection techniques that can be used as a guide by drivers, mechanics, terminal personnel, contractors or anyone else responsible for inspecting intermodal trailers, chassis, and container on chassis. Utilize the video or DVD as a guide for conducting gate inspections and to ensure the integrity of the interchange process.

The main features of the video and DVD are safety aspects of the inspection process, a suggested 7-point inspection procedure, and damage and assessment and notation practices. Also covered is a general overview of the walk-around process. The video and DVD were produced under the leadership of IANA's Maintenance and Repair Committee, in association with the Institute of International Container Lessors and a joint task force comprised of cross functional industry representatives.
